PARANOID JACK:
Manny Berenguel, aka Paranoid Jack, first started Djing in 1994. At the time, he was heavily influenced by the New York / Jersey Garage sound and began to play small underground parties in Toronto's warehouse scene with veterans DJ Cube and Alvaro G. His roots were firmly placed in soul, disco and funk which became an important part in shaping his production philosophy later on. Jack went on to produce several singles and remixes for the Stickman camp over the next few years, with each one going in a slightly different direction yet maintaining the banging and funky element that became the signature Paranoid Jack sound. This culminated in the release of his first artist album in 2001, 'The Last of the Funky Cyborgs'. The album spawned three singles (U, Slavedriver and Smart Hockey) which ......
STEPHANE K:
Stephane K. was born in Paris, then moved to Tokyo until he decided to further his music career in New York. First he started out as a bass player in the band DE Trance (hard progressive rock), played gigs in various spots in NY; CBGB, Knitting Factory, etc. At the beginning of 90's, after experienced the Legendary (original) Sound Factory sounds, he started to produce house music at his own studio in New York. His works with DJ Katsu under the unit 'Madam' has been well received in New York and featured on various media in Japan. Since 1998 he has been experimenting the new tribal, hard, deep and dark sounds. And teamed up with the current partner John Creamer. This new sound and style has recently started to be recognized by the industry. ......
